One of the neatest local ministries in knoxville is the Volunteer Ministry Center. Many members serve on our Good Humor Teams to help feed hungry folks. Join one of these teams to experience an easy and meaningful way to serve others. All the proceeds from this event go directly to the work of the VMC. Obviously raising a lot of money is the goal. Above you will see the results of the church competition the VMC has each year. It is based on the number of participants each church sighns up for the run. You don’t have to run to sign up. For fun there is a trophy that will be passed to the PC USA church that signs up the most partcipants.

So bring you check book or some cash and sign up this Sunday, July 27 in Fellowship Hall or in a Sunday school class. Let’s see if we can take down the Episcopals and defeat 2nd Pres for bragging rights among the Presbyterians.
