If you have ever thought of ringing handbells or learning more about handbell ringing, you will not want to miss this Sunday’s, August 24, Handbell Kick-off. The handbell kick-off is for High School-Adult ages. The schedule is as follows:
12:15-12:25 p.m.-Snack: Fruit & Cheese
12:25-1:00 p.m.-Handbell Fundamentals-Learn the basics of ringing (music reading is not a prerequisite for this session.) New ringers will have a bell partner/coach who will ring the same bells.
1:05-2:15 p.m.-Rehearsal. The rehearsal will include a beginning, intermediate, and advanced level piece. Participants may observe or ring on any of the pieces. Beginning ringers may double a position.
