The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle

Salvation Army LogoWhat: The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle has become an integral part of the Christmas scene, with millions of dollars donated nationwide each year to aid needy families, seniors and the homeless. Knoxville’s Red Kettle Campaign lasts just 30 days, but the money raised will help nearly 30,000 people in the Knoxville area all year round.

When: Friday and Saturday, November 21 and 22. We will work in 2 hour shifts from 10am-8pm. Ask anyone who did it last year…it was fun! Sign up soon and get your space reserved. Sign-up sheets are on the Local Missions’ bulletin board across from the library.

Where: This year, our church is getting involved again by adopting a kettle in Bearden at the Knox Plaza Kroger.
