First Presbyterian Church’s community is growing every year with babies! You can help welcome them to the church by donating baby clothes, shoes, bedding for a crib, etc. (age newborn to 1 year old) to the New Horizons class. By donating baby clothing we can help families focus on their growing relationships while alleviating some of the pressures of preparing for their newborn. We can also ensure every new addition is celebrated by offering a year’s worth of clothing for a fast growing new member. *Please donate clothing that is in good condition and recently washed.* You can bring these items to the church office or leave in the closet in the women’s bathroom on the second floor.
Know a congregational family that is expecting? Tell the New Horizons class so arrangements can be made (contact Jessica Wright: Jessica@coolcorc.com). Thank you.

Presbyterian Women (PW) is an independent organization within the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) of more than 300,000 women. The programming and resource options for the organization offer a variety of ways for women to live out their faith in an inclusive, caring community.
Purpose: Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:
To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study
To support the mission of the church worldwide
To work for justice and peace and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom

Typically, Presbyterian Women in the Congregation are organized into small groups, called circles. A circle is where:
Faith is nurtured and growth takes place.
Women are challenged to stretch beyond their limits.
Women move beyond the safe places of life, reaching out to others.
Christian leadership is born, nurtured and sent forth into ministry.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve a common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership, we are self-supporting through our own contributions.
AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy. Neither endorses nor opposes any cause. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
Alcoholics Anonymous meets each Sunday at 6:30 p.m. and each Friday at 6:00 p.m. in the Jesus’ Friends Classroom. There is an open meeting at 8:00 p.m. on Fridays.
For over 55 years, Al-Anon (which includes Alateen for younger members) has been offering strength and hope for friends and families of problem drinkers. It is estimated that each alcoholic affects the lives of at least four other people… alcoholism is truly a family disease. No matter what relationship you have with an alcoholic, whether they are still drinking or not, all who have been affected by someone else’s drinking can find solutions that lead to serenity in the Al-Anon/Alateen fellowship.
Al-Anon meets each Monday at noon in the Jesus’ Friends Classroom located on P2 (one level below the office)
