Worshipful Wednesday: Reformed Theology

January 11-February 15 AND April 11-May 9

This class is an 11-week series, sponsored by the PC(USA), that focuses on Reformed theology and what it means to be a Presbyterian.  Such topics include the Reformed view of sin and salvation; Presbyterian polity; Worship and Sacraments; and mystery, faith, doubt and hope.  This class does require a commitment from its participants, which is why the cost is $10 (this includes all study materials).

There will be a 5-week break between the two sessions for a special Lenten study.

Leaders: William Pender (first 6 weeks) and Paul Rader (remaining 5 weeks)

Location: Classroom #2

Worshipful Wednesday: Genuine Letters of Paul

January 11-February 15 (6-weeks)

Many scholars think that only seven of Paul’s letters are “genuine,” which means that six of them aren’t!  This class will explore the difference between “genuine” and “disputed” and what this may do for Biblical interpretation.

Leader: Paul Rader

Location: James Park Classroom
