Presbyterian Women meet once a month from September to May on the second Tuesday and Wednesday. We have three day circles, two night circles (Tuesday and Wednesday), and one circle for our Shannondale Retirement Home ladies and friends. We center our meetings around Bible Study, social service projects, and Christian fellowship. Our Bible Study for 2007-2008 will be entitled Above and Beyond: Hearing God’s Call in Jonah and Ruth.
Circles
Typically, Presbyterian Women in the Congregation are organized into small groups, called circles. A circle is where:
- Faith is nurtured and growth takes place.
- Women are challenged to stretch beyond their limits.
- Women move beyond the safe places of life, reaching out to others.
- Christian leadership is born, nurtured and sent forth into ministry.
