HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
First Presbyterian plans to build its eleventh house in the Spring of 2009. Church members are involved in all phases of construction when we build a house, and many members enjoy working on Habitat’s summer work projects in the area. First Presbyterians are active on the staff, board, and committees of the Knoxville affiliate of Habitat for Humanity. The church Fellowship Hall is frequently used for functions of the Knoxville Habitat Homeowner’s Association.
