Bill Rule

The Bill Rule Bible Study Class is an Adult Sunday School Class. Men and women of various ages attend the class.  Anyone is welcome to attend and all who attend are welcomed. The Bible and The Present Word Uniform Series literature is used. The Present Word is from beginning to end a Bible study series.

This class was previously known as the Henagar Class, taught by Miss Henagar in the 1950-60’s. At that time it was made up mostly of women. There was another Bible Study Class comprised mainly of adult couples. As Miss Henagar’s class declined in attendance they joined with the Bible Study Class. After Dr. Bill and Effie Rule, medical missionaries and members of First Presbyterian Church, returned from the Congo, Dr. Rule taught the class, which is now called the Bill Rule Bible Study Class.  There is a display case dedicated to the ministry of the Rules outside the classroom today.
