Foundation Builders

This class meets in Room 231, under the Chapel. It is comprised primarily of parents of young children in the church. As a result, punctuality is not a requirement and flexibility sometime rules the day in this class. Anyone is welcome to attend and all who attend are welcomed. On designated dates members all bring in items for a big breakfast feast. The Foundation Builders might start slow but they still enjoy getting deep in study and discussion as you can read below.

Beginning in May of 2008, this class will undertake an exploration of the book of Mark.  We will begin by reading the book of Mark aloud to each other.  Then, members of the class will take turns facilitating a discussion of sections of a book from the Interpretation Bible Studies series Mark by Richard I. Deibert.  This book contains 10 “Units”, and we expect to take 2 classes to discuss each unit.
