First Presbyterian Church of Knoxville

Ashley Burell joined the staff of First Presbyterian Church as Organist-Choirmaster in August of 1998. He is an active member in many professional organizations including the American Guild of Organists, the Presbyterian Association of Musicians, and the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers. Ashley is also Instructor of Organ and Harpsichord at Maryville College and is a member of the Early Music ensemble, KEMP (Knoxville Early Music Project). He brings to our church an interest in the total music program, which includes a variety of choral and instrumental ensemble for all ages and the Music at First Church Series. He and his wife, Kyla, have four children: Corey, Kevin, Channing, and Rebekah.
