"Always On" Worshipful Wednesday Series continues May 1

Is Alexa a good technology? What makes technology good? Does daily access to multiple modes of communication shape and change human beings, and if so, how? Have mobile phones become so intrusive that we need mindful practices that help us be more attentive to our friends? Does God care about the sorts of technology we develop and engage with?

Have you found yourself asking these or similar questions? Is technology shaping, hindering, or helping your faith journey? If so, I hope you will join our upcoming 5-week book study of Angela Gorrell’s compelling work Always On: Practicing Faith in a New Media Landscape. In lives filled with constant connectivity and nonstop activity, Gorrell’s book offers an energizing perspective on finding moments for interested conversation, sacred reflection, and intentional unplugging in our everyday lives.

Whether you are seeking to deepen your faith, connect with others on this journey of faith, or simply join in interested conversations, this book study provides a welcoming space for all.
