A Habitat for Humanity Home Dedication is a celebration held at the conclusion of the build and before the family moves in their new home. Habitat recognizes all the hard work and dedication the family, volunteers, donors and other supporters have put in, getting the project to this point. The new homeowners are presented with the keys to the home. There is a ribbon cutting, prayer, a tour of the new home, and refreshments. Habitat welcomes everyone to attend the home dedication ceremonies and share in our joy.
Our congregation has invested so much in this project through countless volunteer hours, construction efforts, and financial support. We are thrilled to come together and celebrate as Dominique receives the keys to her new home! Join us at 242 Sapling Lane, Knoxville, TN 37924, on October 26th at 10 AM to rejoice with Dominique, our new friends, and ministry partners as she begins this exciting new chapter!
Dominique sent us this thank you note after giving her the gift cards we purchased with the money we raised:
