Join us for a special Ash Wednesday service on February 14th at 6:30 pm

Ash Wednesday holds significance for Presbyterians as it marks the start of Lent, a season of reflection and preparation for Easter. Ash Wednesday services typically include the imposition of ashes on worshippers' foreheads in the shape of a cross, symbolizing mortality and the need for repentance. The service emphasizes self-examination, with prayers of confession and seeking forgiveness. Liturgical elements focus on biblical teachings of fasting and prayer as spiritual disciplines during Lent.

We use Ash Wednesday to draw closer to God, reflecting on our faith and preparing our hearts for the journey to Easter. Join us for a special Ash Wednesday service on February 14th at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary after dinner for Worshipful Wednesday at 5:30.
