In the fast-paced world we inhabit, finding moments of tranquility and connection with the God can be a profound source of solace. One such practice that transcends religious boundaries is the use of mantra prayer. While often associated with Eastern traditions, this ancient spiritual tool has found a meaningful place in the hearts of many Christians, including those within the Presbyterian community. At Worshipful Wednesday on October 18th, we will be studying Mantra prayer as an inter-generational gathering for a special program that you won't want to miss.
What is Mantra Prayer?
A mantra prayer is a sacred phrase or word repeated rhythmically during meditation or contemplation. Derived from the Sanskrit words "man" (mind) and "tra" (tool), it serves as a powerful instrument to focus and calm the mind, fostering a deeper connection with God.
Intergenerational Program - October 18th
Join us for an inter-generational program on October 18th where joy meets wonder, as people of all ages will come together to explore the transformative power of sacred words and reflect on the many joys in our lives. Through shared activity, conversation, and reflection, we will bridge the gap between generations and deepen our spiritual connections.
