Join us for the last two Worshipful Wednesdays of the year

Pathways to Peace - Dec 4

We will welcome Patrick Green, Volunteer Manager with Bridge Refugee Services, for our final “Pathways to Peace” class on December 4th during Worshipful Wednesday. We will learn about how this important agency is helping refugees find new homes in Knoxville after escaping dangerous situations and how we can help too. Bridge works to ensure that families have safe places to live in order to know peace and build new lives. Peter will share the current state of refugee resettlement in the US and how the future will impact it. Join us for dinner at 5:30 beforehand!

An Advent Affair - Dec 11

For the final Worshipful Wednesday of year, help us pack Christmas gift bags for Dogwood Elementary School’s 3rd grade! From the congregation’s generous donations for the Angel Tree, we will pack treats and small toys for 95 students and 6 teachers. Join us in the fellowship hall for a long assembly line to pack bags, as well as write Christmas cards to our homebound members. Pageant practice will continue for children and youth. For more information, please email meredith@fpcknox.org.
