Maundy Thursday Dinner and Service

Maundy Thursday is the day during Holy Week that commemorates the Washing of the Feet (Maundy) and Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles, as described in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

It is the fifth day of Holy Week, followed by Good Friday and Easter Sunday. "Maundy" comes from the Latin word mandatum, or commandment, reflecting Jesus' words "I give you a new commandment."

We will observe Maundy Thursday on April 14th with dinner at 5:30 pm and then our Maundy Thursday service in the Sanctuary at 6:30 pm. We will NOT host Worshipful Wednesday that week so that we can reverently observe this important day in Holy Week.
