Lunch and Discussion on Sunday, June 12th
Over the last several weeks, our Personnel & Administration Committee has been hard at work discerning God’s will as we seek to continue the excellent education of the young disciples in our church family. We are excited about finding new ways to reach out to our children and youth. To guide us, we will be working with Suzie Lane, Program Director with GenOn Ministries (mother of Stephanie Spurlock and grandmother of Will, Lane, and Eliza!), to help us understand the impact, purpose, and practicality of the faith formation of our children and youth. We will be asking the questions, “What is the process of this faith formation now?” and “What do we want it to be?”
We value your input and hope to hear your thoughts, hopes, and ideas. Please join us on Sunday, June 12 in the Fellowship Hall right after worship (12:15 p.m.) for lunch and conversation. Our time together will last about two hours. Food, drinks, and childcare will be provided.
This congregation has an incredibly strong history of Christian Education with its young people. We have been blessed by God – with knowledge, skills, and abilities far beyond what most other churches enjoy. We hope you will join us on June 12 as we dream and pray about what God has planned as we embark on this exciting journey of faith.
