The Christmas Joy Offering will be collected on December 24th!

The Christmas Joy Offering has been a cherished Presbyterian tradition since the 1930s. Each year during the Advent and Christmas season, the Presbyterian Church lifts up past, present, and future leaders of the church through this special offering.

The Offering distributes gifts equally to the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions and to Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color. The Assistance Program provides critical financial support to church workers and their families, while the schools and colleges focus on education and leadership development, nurturing racial and ethnic heritage—a commitment the Presbyterian Church has upheld for nearly 140 years.

God has blessed the Church with incredible leaders in every time and place, but these leaders often need the support of their communities. The Christmas Joy Offering helps address this need, supporting leadership development for communities of color and providing aid to Presbyterian church workers in their time of need.
