Worshipful Wednesday Begins for the Fall

Join us for dinner, worship, and fun on Wednesday evenings! Worshipful Wednesday on August 17 will be "Safety First" Night.

Join us as we get back together for our first Worshipful Wednesday of the year with the program of “Safety First" night. It is so important that we all know how to be safe at church, and we will have lots of fun, food and fellowship while we learn.

The Knoxville Fire Department will have a firetruck and a fire safety professional in the parking lot, RN Robin Cook with demonstrate the AED (automated external defibrillator), and we will learn about Safe Sanctuaries. We will also have a “Safety Scavenger Hunt” for all ages to participate. To make this night even more fun, there will be lots of prizes, a fire drill and an ice cream sunday Party. Dinner will be at 5:30pm with the program at 6:30.

This year, program tracks for adults will include:

a) Officer training for Elders and Deacons
b) Study with the book If God is Love, Dont Be a Jerk, by John Pavlovitz;
c) a Women’s Study Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted, by Priscilla Shirer
d) A study on Faith and Science from the Being Reformed series
