Advent Devotions Start December 1st - Check your Email!
What if Advent isn’t just about waiting for what’s to come?
This year’s Advent in Focus devotional invites us to shift our perspective and notice the ways hope, peace, joy, and love are already present in our lives, even as we anticipate the fullness of Christ’s coming.
Too often, waiting feels like absence, but Advent reminds us that God’s promises are not only future realities—they are glimpsed in the here and now. Advent in Focus is designed to help us perceive these “already” moments through weekly framing devotions written by staff, daily reflections shared by members of our congregation, and meaningful images that bring these reflections to life.
Each day, you’ll find a reflection and an image paired with a prompt to guide your own awareness of God’s presence in the everyday. Together, these reflections and images will help us focus on the incredible reality that Christ is already at work in the world, even as we wait for what is to come.
Join us this Advent as we open our hearts to the glimpses of hope, peace, joy, and love already in our midst. For more information, contact Andy Morgan at amorgan@fpcknox.org.
