BK Kisubi: A Bright Light in Our Community and Beyond

Spending time with BK Kisubi on New Year’s Eve and capturing his senior photos was such a joy. BK is a beloved member of our church community and the Pennoyer clan. Recently, he moved to Wisconsin to be closer to his family and is now a senior at Lincoln High School graduating in May. He’s enjoying his job at a movie theater and is excited to try skiing and other outdoor activities.

BK has big plans for the future! He’s set to attend the University of Wisconsin in Green Bay in the Fall, where he plans to major in Communications. He’s considering a career as a Swahili interpreter, an elementary school teacher, or even a counselor. BK’s natural ability to connect with others, his thoughtful questions, and his bright and intuitive personality will make him shine wherever he goes.

We’re thrilled that BK plans to be in Knoxville this summer, giving us the chance to spend more time with him. Sending him all our love and prayers from First Presbyterian—we couldn’t be prouder of all he’s achieved and the bright future that lies ahead!
