Dogwood Elementary

Thank you, friends at First Presbyterian, for your support and generosity toward Dogwood Elementary School. On Monday morning, we delivered 95 Christmas bags filled with goodies to five third-grade classes, along with gifts for five teachers and one intern.

A heartfelt thanks to Pastor Meredith for thoughtfully shopping and selecting the perfect gifts. Thanks also to all the members at the Worshipful Wednesday Advent giving party, who helped fill the bags and took such care making sure each one was perfect. 

The smiles, excitement, and joy on the children’s faces said it all. One little boy excitedly shared that the flashlight would be very handy. After receiving their gifts, each child created a handmade thank-you note. Be sure to check out some of these sweet notes on the bulletin board in the Commons after the holidays.

Once again, thank you, First Presbyterian, for making this holiday season so memorable.
