FPC Collects Urgently Needed Winter Clothes for Presbyterian Missionaries

First Presbyterian Church and Presbyterian Women support Mission Haven in Decatur Ga, which houses and cares for Presbyterian mission coworkers when they are on furlough in the U.S. Our church is now collecting urgently needed winter clothing for the Mission Haven clothes closet. Needed are winter coats, raingear, hats and gloves for men, women and children, and belts for men.

If you can donate any of these items, either new or gently used, please bring them to the church, (labeled for Mission Haven), by Sunday, Oct 22. You can place them in the clothes closet just inside the main door on the P2 level or in the office. If you plan to donate, please contact Ann Myers at annbmyers7115@gmail.com.

Mission Haven is owned and operated by the Presbyterian Women organization in six states, including Tennessee. Ann Myers is on the board of trustees. To learn more about Mission Haven, please watch this excellent, short video
