From the Flower Guild - Flowers During Lent this Season

Beginning on Ash Wednesday, we enter the solemn observance of Christian's liturgical commemoration of the 40 days of Lent. We remember the 40 days Jesus Christ spent fasting in the desert, enduring the temptations of Satan as recorded in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Lent is a period of penitence and preparation that ends with the great celebration of Easter.
