Holy Week at First Presbyterian: A Journey to the Risen Christ
As Holy Week approaches, we look forward to gathering as a church family to reflect and rejoice. This is the most sacred week of the Christian year—a journey from the table, to the cross, to the empty tomb. We hope you will join us for these meaningful services as we walk together through the final days of Jesus' earthly life and celebrate the hope of Easter.
Wednesday, April 16 - NO WORSHIPFUL WEDNESDAY
Maundy Thursday Dinner & Service
Thursday, April 17
Dinner at 5:30 pm | Service at 6:30 pm | Fellowship Hall & Sanctuary
On Maundy Thursday, we remember the final meal Jesus shared with his disciples—the Last Supper—where he gave them a new commandment: to love one another. Join us for a shared meal and a reflective service as we recall Christ’s humility, his example of servant leadership, and his deep love for his friends and followers.
Stations of the Cross
Friday, April 18 | 5:30 pm | Market Square
We will gather in Market Square alongside other downtown churches for this ecumenical Good Friday service. Through scripture, prayer, and reflection, we walk the path of Christ’s suffering—remembering the cost of love and the depth of God’s mercy. This public witness of faith draws us together as one body, united in Christ. All are welcome.
