New Advent Study in the Discipleship Class through December

The Discipleship class will be engaging in a video study titled "Heaven and Earth: Advent and Incarnation" by William Willimon during the Advent season, starting on December 3rd. The class will temporarily switch to this study, then return to finish Hamilton's "Family Tree" afterward. The accompanying book for the study is available for purchase on Amazon through the provided link below.

The study explores the anticipation of God's arrival among us during Advent, emphasizing that our ability to create a fresh start is beyond our own power and must come as a divine gift. Willimon introduces the concept of a God who breaks into our existence, refusing to be confined by eternity, and actively engages with humanity, bringing transformation and heaven to earth.

The Discipleship class welcomes adults of all ages and meets in Courtyard A on the same level as the Fellowship Hall. For more information, interested individuals can reach out to Greg Efurd, the class contact, at greg.t.efurd@gmail.com, and are encouraged to join the class for the Advent study throughout December.
