PC (USA) News Service Spotlights Efforts to Equip Congolese Youth for Future

Increased technical and vocational training programs in middle and high schools are hoped to boost employment among young Congolese adults. Classes in sewing, tailoring, welding, electrical work, and construction are planned. Here are students at the IT center at Institute Technique de Kamu.

Strengthening educational programs for Congolese youth and young adults is the goal of the 2024 Conference of the Presbyterian-affiliated Congo Mission Network March 14-16. It will be at the Charleston-Atlantic Presbytery in Charleston, SC. Members of our church are participating in the planning of the conference, which will involve Presbyterian churches around the U.S. and Dr Congo.
