Support for caregivers at First Presbyterian for a loved one suffering from any kind of dementia:

Alzheimer's Tennessee, Inc. has created the Dementia Caregivers Community Podcast, a bi-weekly series hosted by Marketta Puckett and Tracey Kendall Wilson. The podcast aims to create a welcoming space for caregivers who need support, encouragement and information. Published every other Wednesday, it can be found on various podcast platforms and the Alzheimer's Tennessee website.

Marketta and Tracey, each bringing their unique perspectives, strive to connect with and support caregivers. Marketta, who cared for her father and husband during their battles with dementia, shares personal experiences, while Tracey, a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Regional Director at Alzheimer's Tennessee, offers professional insights. The hosts aim to encourage, provide resourceful suggestions, answer questions, and foster a sense of community among caregivers, emphasizing their understanding, care, and shared experiences in supporting individuals living with dementia.
