Prayer for those Impacted by Hurricane Ian

There are many in the church with friends and family affected by the destruction of Hurricane Ian. We pray God's hand of protection, safety, and restoration would be over Florida, Cuba, Georgia, South Carolina and the areas affected in the coming days. We remember the immense power in presenting our requests to God and interceding on behalf of civilians, their loved ones, as well as those providing disaster relief during this difficult time.

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance's response to the hurricane is evolving, but you can keep up with their efforts and how to be of assistance in the link below.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.

- Psalm 46:1-2,5,7
