Sharon Patton and Rachel Patton McCord featured in UT publication

We are thrilled to share a recent UT publication that shines a spotlight on the remarkable accomplishments of Drs. Sharon Patton and Rachel Patton McCord. Dr. Sharon Patton, a trailblazer and the first female faculty member in the UT College of Veterinary Medicine, dedicated 38 years to teaching at UT before retiring in 2015.

Her legacy of excellence lives on through her daughter, Dr. Rachel Patton McCord, who currently serves as a professor in UT’s Department of Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology.
