This Sunday at First Presbyterian, we are continuing our stewardship season, a time to reflect on the gifts we have been given and how we can use them to further God's work. This year's theme, "Seeking God's Peace," invites us to embrace the call to become peacemakers, learning to cultivate peace in our relationship with God and within our communities. Stewardship is vital in supporting the church's mission, as we dedicate our time, talents, and resources to building a world rooted in God’s peace and justice. 

Drawing from scripture, we are encouraged to "seek peace and pursue it," striving for full restoration and living closely in relationship with one another. This year’s stewardship scriptures (Psalm 34:14 and 2 Corinthians 13:11) inspire us to deepen our faith and act as peacemakers in our daily interactions and in our communities.
