Welcome New Refugees with Easy Purchases of Home Goods
In 2025, Bridge Refugee Services of Knoxville is scheduled to resettle 350 refugees. The top three areas from which they will come are Central and South America, Democratic Republic of Congo and Afghanistan. Bridge also is working with humanitarian parolees from Ukraine and people with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) from places like Haiti.
Between now and Jan. 20, Bridge expects 24 people to arrive. The Global Missions Committee suggests that one small way we can each help prepare a warm welcome is by purchasing items from Bridge's Knoxville Amazon Registry. Each purchase is tax exempt and will go directly from your click to Bridge. Each item has a priority listed with it, plus the quantities needed and the number already purchased. The greatest need today is twin bed sheet sets and can openers.

All refugees arrive frightened and bewildered. Each of us can say "Welcome to your new home," with a purchase for refugees. Thank you for your generosity!
