Youth Programs & Education

Christian Education and Confirmation for Youth

Sunday School from 9:45-10:30 AM each Sunday in the youth suite. To reach the youth suite start from the sanctuary and go up the stairs one floor just outside the door closest to the pulpit!

  • Middle School class (6th-8th graders) lays the foundation for youth to take ownership of their faith and learn and discuss together what God is calling them to do.

  • High School class (9th-12th graders) dives deeper into the ways that God calls us to love and serve others and prepares the youth to take their faith with them into the world as they grow older and mature.

Confirmation Class (8th graders only) - taught by a variety of church members. This course is taught as a membership course for youth who are either in eighth grade or older to learn more about how to articulate their faith and become members of our church body.

Worshipful Wednesdays

  • Start with all church dinner in the Fellowship Hall at 5:30

  • Youth Bible study begins at 6:30. This is a time for all of the youth to come together and have fun and with games and activities before digging into the Word and learn with each other!

Presbytery of East Tennessee Retreats

FPC Youth regularly participate in events coordinated by the Presbytery of East Tennessee. This is a great opportunity for youth to meet and fellowship with their peers from across the region.
