One Week Left of New Sunday School Series, “Cultivating Faithfulness,” led by Rev. Dr. Andy Morgan

What should I say to my child when they ask about God, death, or prayer?

I wish I could connect with that person, but it feels like we are speaking different theological languages.

How can I understand and support myself, my children, and/or my family of faith as we grow throughout our lives?

If you have ever thought or felt these questions, you're not alone. The ways in which we attend to our faith journeys and those of our family can present a myriad of challenges and questions. This desire to help people of faith become more informed and confident as disciples of Jesus was the genesis of an exciting new 3-week class beginning August 20th in the James Park Room.

This class, called Cultivating Faithfulness: Exploring the Intersection of Developmental Psychology and Faith Formation, will introduce new ways of understanding the ways in which people of faith (from infants to older adults) relate to and express their faith. The class: will help define a more considered view of faith and the church's role in it, present research for understanding how people at different walks of life might be better understood and supported and will provide ample resources to help engage with and support children along their faith journey.

Please read more about this exciting class in the link below.
