Church Women United Held Powerful Meeting at First Presbyterian

Church Women United met at First Presbyterian last Friday, March 4th. It was the organization’s first meeting since the pandemic began. First Presbyterian has long been a partner in this multiracial, ecumenical Christian women's group. The women stood shoulder to shoulder in fellowship and in prayer for God's mercy and grace in Ukraine.

Members came from churches that included Lomax Temple AME Zion, Clinton Chapel AME Zion, Graystone Presbyterian, Mount Zion Baptist, Payne Avenue Baptist, Mount Zion Oak Ridge, Fountain City Presbyterian, Christus Victor Lutheran, Westminster Presbyterian, Mount Calvary Baptist, Rogers Memorial Baptist Church, New Beginnings, Fourth Presbyterian, Tabernacle Baptist, Emmanuel Presbyterian, and Logan Temple AME Zion.

It was good to be with our sisters.
