Congratulations to Soccer Stars BK Kisubi and Wyatt Brace!

A special congratulations to youth member Wyatt Brace, son of Gina and David Brace, for being selected as a player on One Knox SC, Knoxville’s new professional soccer club! Wyatt is the youngest member of the team at 17 years old, and currently also plays for West High School. Learn more about Wyatt and the One Knox SC team in the story below in the Knoxville News-Sentinel.

Congrats to BK Kisubi, who recently made the West High School soccer team! BK began learning soccer in a refugee camp in Africa with a ball of newspaper wrapped in tape as soon as he was able to play. When he moved to Knoxville at the age of 8, he started playing with a real ball for Emerald Youth Foundation. In 6th grade he started playing year-round with Bearden Middle School, and now plays for West High School as well as club soccer.

BK plays a position, right backer, usually played by someone with a bigger size. He loves playing this position because other teams under estimate his bulldog-like tenacity coupled with his incredible speed.

Congratulations Wyatt and BK, so proud of you! We will have many games to go support this season!
