Congratulations to youth member, Parson Campen, on qualifying for the Tennessee State Cross Country Meet!

Please join us in congratulating Parson Campen, who has qualified for the Tennessee State Cross Country Meet! Parson and his teammate are making history as the first students from Central High School to qualify for the state meet since 2002. He’ll be competing next Friday in Hendersonville, TN.

Parson has been passionate about running since the 4th grade, recently completing a 5k in an impressive 17 minutes and 28 seconds. He loves the team spirit and community in cross country and is honored to be heading to the state meet for the first time. A true tradition for Parson is celebrating each meet with Taco Bell alongside his teammates. "I get hyped about those tacos," he says. "Win or lose, it’s always Taco Bell time!”

Parson recently turned 16, and enjoys being part of our youth group and appreciates all the activities it provides. He’s also a big fan of math and will be taking AP Statistics next semester as a sophomore, tackling challenges with the same dedication he shows on the cross-country course.

Parson is a cherished member of our youth group and church family. Please keep him in your prayers and wish him well as he heads to the state meet next Friday!
