Delicious Grain from Palestine Available at the Mission Market

Canaan’s Freekeh comes from an area known as “the breadbasket of Palestine.”

Freekeh, one of the world's healthiest foods, has returned to the Mission Market!

This traditional, flame roasted green wheat of Palestine is a nutritious and delicious alternative to rice. It provides 3 times the fiber and more vitamins and minerals than brown rice. Once supplied to us by Equal Exchange, freekeh became unavailable. Now Koinonia Farm in Georgia carries it.

Today the Mission Market has a new shipment from Koinonia. You can purchase your own freekah for $12 per box. To read more about this ancient grain, click here!
