Hurricane Helene Relief Update on Clean-up Buckets
We are well on our way in our PDA Clean-up Bucket Campaign to put together 100 buckets!
In the wake of disasters, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) steps in to provide essential relief and recovery aid to communities in need. One critical way to support these efforts is through Cleanup Buckets. These buckets are filled with cleaning supplies to help families and communities begin the process of recovery after the hurricane.
Each Cleanup Bucket contains items like gloves, scrub brushes, disinfectants, and other essential tools to help with cleaning up homes and removing debris. These buckets are a simple yet powerful way to show care and compassion to those impacted by disaster, offering them a fresh start in difficult times.
The cleanup buckets will be distributed by Presbyterian Disaster Assistance to households affected by the devastating flooding and destruction from Hurricane Helene.
Our goal to purchase items has been met! The church will secure the specific cleaning supplies and we will have a Bucket Assembly Day and invite everyone to help put them together. Stay tuned for that date! And thank you for your generosity for this crucial campaign. For questions, please email Meredith Loftis at meredith@fpcknox.org.
