New Steinway Grand Piano in the Sanctuary

First Presbyterian is deeply honored to receive a Steinway & Sons Model M Grand piano from the Neely family.

Steinway pianos are considered some of the finest instruments in the world, and are found in many schools of music and conservatories. The piano will be dedicated at a later date, but now sits in the chancel of the First Presbyterian sanctuary and will be heard for the first time this Sunday.

The piano was a gift to Mary Stuart Neely from her husband John, and is given to the church in his memory. John Neely attended First Presbyterian for many years and served as an elder, a deacon, and was an active member of the James Park Sunday school class.

Be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart. Ephesians 5:18-19
