Pastor Meredith and APCE in Birmingham!

City Activist Chris Battle and Meredith Loftis at the Lament Service in the Chapel on November 13th

Pastor Meredith Loftis was one of the moderators of the Annual APCE conference in Birmingham, AL at the end of January.

The mission of (APCE) Association of Partners in Christian Education, Inc. is to advance educational ministries in the Church and increase the ongoing witness of our faith. It connects, enriches, empowers and sustains all persons serving in educational ministries in the Reformed family of churches.

This year's event was entitled "Unforced Rhythms of Grace” and explores the necessity of grief, lament, and rest as they also observe the 60th Anniversary of the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing.

Many thanks to Meredith for her vision and leadership.
