Thank you for the Great Turnout for World Communion Day

Ann Payne created the centerpiece and table decorations for Scotland on World Communion Day, beautifully representing our Presbyterian heritage!

We are pleased to share the success of our recent World Communion Day celebration, which brought together members of our community to celebrate our unity in Christ with all our brothers and sisters across the world. We had an amazing turnout, and we were delighted to see everyone enjoying the delicious food and the creative table centerpieces from around the world.

Jean Mayer created the lovely centerpiece for Hungary for World Communion Day. The doll is wearing the traditional dress from Hungary. The cloth behind the doll is a Hungarian piece made with flax that was grown in the field and woven on a hand made loom over 125 years ago.

Additionally, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who helped us celebrate Victor's 25 years at First Presbyterian and for their generous gifts to his Love Offering. We are also proud of the generosity shown by our community for the Peace and Global Witness offering, which helps us promote the Peace of Christ by addressing systems of conflict and injustice across the world. Thank you to everyone who made this event a success!
