Worshipful Wednesday Lenten Book Study starting March 9th!

Thousands of years ago, the early church began the practice of observing Lent – the 40-day period between Ash Wednesday and dusk the Saturday before Easter. Since the beginning, people have used Lent as a time to renew and strengthen their faith through the spiritual disciples of prayer, Bible study, fasting, service, and often, by giving something up.

A few years ago, I read a devotion that asked the questions: While we may find it meaningful to give something up for Lent, would it be more valuable to take on something new? That is what we are inviting you to do this year!

Beginning March 9th, for our Worshipful Wednesday program during Lent, we will use the book, The Road Back to You: An Enneagram Journey to Self-Discovery by Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile, to help understand more fully who God has created each of us to be. You can find the book on Amazon here.

If you are new to the Enneagram, you should know that it is an ancient personality type system, that has an uncanny precision in describing how human beings are wired. If you would like to take an Enneagram test before we begin, here are 3 options:

· Free and quick assessment: https://www.enneagramtest.net/

· Free version: https://www.eclecticenergies.com/enneagram/test

· Paid version: $12 https://tests.enneagraminstitute.com/ (click on purchase a test, then select the RHETI or Riso-Hudson Enneagram Type Indicator)

I hope you will join us as we journey together through Lent finding our “type,” learning more about ourselves and others, and gaining a deeper understanding of how and why people think, feel, and act the way they do.
